Article 8.4: Violations of legislation on environmental impact assessment

1. Failure to comply with the requirements of the law on the mandatory conduct of State environmental assessment, financing or implementation of projects, programmes and other documentation to be submitted to the State A State environmental expert ' s examination of the environment and the failure to obtain a favourable opinion is punishable by a warning or an administrative fine against citizens in the Republic of Moldova. From one thousand five hundred to two thousand rubles; from ten thousand to twenty thousand rubles for officials; from one hundred thousand to two hundred fifty thousand rubles for legal entities. and other activities not in accordance with the relevant documentation, which have received a favourable opinion from the State environmental expert, are subject to an administrative fine of citizens. Two thousand to two thousand five hundred rubles; for officials from ten thousand to twenty thousand rubles; for legal persons from one hundred thousand to two hundred fifty thousand rubles. The State registration of applications for public environmental assessment is subject to an administrative fine of between 5,000 and 10,000 rubles for officials.
