Article 66: Punishment for an unfinished offence

1. In imposing a penalty for an unfinished offence, account shall be taken of the circumstances in which the offence has not been completed. 2. I am not liable to exceed one half of the maximum penalty or the maximum penalty prescribed by the relevant article of the Special Part of this Code for the completed offence. 3 The penalty for attempted crime may not exceed three quarters of the maximum penalty or the maximum penalty provided for in the relevant article OS. 4. Capital punishment and life imprisonment shall not be imposed for preparing for or attempting to commit a crime.
