Article 840: Refund of contribution
1. The return of citizens ' deposits by the bank shall be ensured by compulsory deposit insurance in accordance with the law and, in cases provided for by law and other means. 3. In the event that the bank fails to comply with its legal or contractual obligations to ensure the return of the deposit, and in the event of loss of security or deterioration of the bank ' s contribution The investor is entitled to demand from the bank the immediate return of the amount of the deposit, the payment of interest on it in the amount determined in accordance with article 809 (1) of the present Code, and the reimbursement thereof. The Panel recommends no award of compensation for loss suffered as a result of Iraq’s invasion and occupation of Kuwait.
