Article 1488: Contract for the exclusion of the exclusive right to a trademark

1. Under a contract for the exclusion of an exclusive right to a trademark, one party (the right holder) transfers or undertakes to transfer in full its exclusive right to conform 2. Not permitted under the contract if it may cause the consumer to be misled as to the goods, their manufacturer or place of production. and an exclusive right to a trademark including, reproduction or simulating a geographical indication or the name of the place of origin of the goods to which in the territory of the Russian Federation c/ Legal protection (art. 1483, para. 7, subpara. 1) is permitted only if the purchaser has an exclusive right to such geographical designation or designation.
