Article 177. Inviolability of a transaction made by a national unable to understand or direct the meaning of his or her actions

1. A transaction made by a citizen, although capable, but at the time of its commission in a state in which he was unable to understand or direct his actions, may, 2. To be declared null and void by a court on the claim of that citizen or other persons whose rights or legally protected interests have been violated as a result of his or her commission. A person may be declared invalid by a court on the claim of his guardian if it is proved that at the time of the transaction the citizen was unable to understand the meaning of his or her actions A transaction made by a citizen who is subsequently restricted due to a mental disorder may be declared null and void by the court on the claim of his guardian.
