Article 186: Term of trust

1. If the term of its validity is not specified in the power of attorney, it shall remain valid for one year from the date of its commission; a power of attorney which does not specify the date of its commission shall be null and void. A power of attorney intended to carry out an act abroad without specifying the duration of its operation shall remain valid until it has been abolished by the person who has given the power of attorney.
