Article 386. Objections by the debtor to a new creditor ' s claim

The debtor is entitled to raise against the claim of the new creditor an objection that it had against the original creditor if the grounds for such an objection arose at the time of receipt of the notice of the debtor ' s claim. The debtor is required to inform the new creditor of the existence of a known ground of objection within a reasonable time after the notice has been received. If not, the debtor may not invoke such grounds.
