Article 415: Debt forgiveness

1. The obligation is terminated by the debtor ' s creditor ' s release from its obligations unless it violates the rights of others with respect to the creditor ' s property. When the debtor receives notice from the creditor of the forgiveness of the debt, the debtor does not, within a reasonable time, send the creditor an objection to the forgiveness of the debt.
