Article 784: General provisions on carriage

1. The carriage of goods, passengers and luggage shall be subject to a contract of carriage. 2. The general conditions of carriage shall be determined by the transport statutes and codes other than those issued in soo. The conditions for the carriage of goods, passengers and baggage by certain modes of transport, as well as the liability of the parties thereto, shall be determined by agreement of the parties if it is necessary to do so. The Code, the Transport Regulations and the Codes and other laws and regulations issued by them do not specify otherwise.
