Article 926.4: Distinguishment of depositable property

1. Property transferred to the escrow agent shall be separated from its assets, which shall be reflected in a separate balance sheet and (or) shall be separately accounted for. 2. 3. Unless otherwise provided, the escru-agent ' s obligation to the depositor and the beneficiary shall not cease by an escrow agent to deposit property with other (including its own) property of the same kind. An escruus agent is not entitled to use or dispose of the property transferred to it for deposit.
