Article 112 — Non-working holidays

Non-working holidays in the Russian Federation are: 1, 2, 3, 4.5, 6 and 8 January to New Year ' s holidays; 7 January to Christmas of Christ; 23 February to Fatherland ' s Day; 8 March to International Women ' s Day; 1 May — Spring and Labour Festival; 9 May — Victory Day; 12 June — Russia Day; 4 November — People ' s Unity Day. It shall be carried over to the following day after the holiday, except for days of rest which coincide with the days of non-working holidays specified by the wazats of the second part of this article. The Government of the Russian Federation shall postpone two days off from the rest days which coincide with the public holidays referred to in paragraphs 2 and 3 of part one of this article; On other days in another calendar year, in accordance with the procedure laid down in article 5 of this article, employees, except employees who receive salary (wage) for non-working holidays Additional remuneration shall be paid for the days in which they were not employed, and the amount and manner of payment of such remuneration shall be determined by collective agreement, agreements, local agreements. In the light of the opinion of the elected body of the primary trade union organization, the contract of employment has been approved. The absence of public holidays during the calendar month does not constitute a reason for lowering the wages of wage-earners. For the purpose of rational use by employees of holidays and holidays, holidays may be postponed to other days by federal law or by legal regulations. By an act of the Government of the Russian Federation, however, the regulatory act of the Government of the Russian Federation on the transfer of days off to other days in another calendar year is subject to official approval. Adoption of regulatory legal acts by the Government of the Russian Federation on the transfer of days off to other days During the calendar year, it is permissible, subject to the official publication of the said documents, not later than two months before the scheduled date of the scheduled holiday.
