Article 170: Inviolability of perceived and pretending transactions

1. By thinking of a transaction, i.e. a transaction committed only for the species, without the intention to produce legal effects corresponding to it, is null and void. The rules applicable to the transaction, which the parties had in fact intended, shall apply to the transaction, taking into account the substance and content of the transaction.
